Objectives and results
The purpose of the event is to intensify the cooperation of CEMR and PLATFORMA members with the South-East European local government associations, that will facilitate better exposure of SEE local governments to the current EU policy developments, know-how exchange with European sister organisations and explore possibilities of possible common actions in the field of EU integration of the region and strengthening of decentralisation.
The topics discussed at the meetings are: EC Public Consultations on External Financial Instruments of the European Union, Local Governments in SEE contributing to European Integration, White Paper on Future of Europe – Europe 2030, European Union Policy Forum on Development and Cooperation of Platforma and NALAS on decentralisation in SEE.
1. Workshop organised on December 7 in Brussels, with 34 participants from NALAS member countries, PLATFORMA, CEMR and NALAS Secretariats as well as BACID experts.
