The UNDP Procurement Capacity Development Guide (hereafter ‘the Capacity Development Guide’) gives a detailed step-by-step guide to conducting a procurement capacity assessment using the UNDP Capacity Assessment Methodology. The Capacity Development Guide is an adaptation of the UNDP Capacity Assessment Methodology User’s Guide1 and is meant to be used in conjunction with the UNDP Practice Notes on Capacity Development, Capacity Assessment and Measuring Capacity which provide explanations of the terms and concepts referenced here.
