BACID II starts now - Newsletter 3/2018

The second phase of BACID just started. The Austrian Development Agency has approved the programme and will support BACID the next three years till 2021. Besides the Austrian Association of Cities and Towns and KDZ Public Administration Research Center, the project is implemented in close partnership with ReSPA (www.respaweb.eu) and NALAS (www.nalas.eu).

The expected results are:

 -)  BACID Funds: ~ at least 20 Projects funded by the BACID small projects actions funds to support introduction of EU standards and policies
 -)  Regional Quality Center implemented within RESPA
 At least 5 CAFs pilots implemented to increase quality of public sector organisations and Public Administration Reform in different countries of the Western Balkans
 -) Governance Forums on Quality and Transparency
 -)  Regional Decentralisation Observatory  launched within NALAS
 -) Report and Platfom on Municipal Budget Transparency in Western Balkans
 -) 5 successful EU funded projects for NALAS members
 -)  Cooperation activities of NALAS with EU-Institutions and actors
