Smart Digital City Pilot - Municipality of Delchevo
From BACID
Project description
The Municipality of Delchevo, North Macedonia, is leading the way in digital innovation with the Smart Digital City pilot project. An innovative elderly care system was introduced, which allows remote health monitoring and diagnostics, offering a groundbreaking solution for senior citizens, especially in rural areas. With advanced monitoring devices, key vital signs such as ECG, blood pressure, and temperature can be tracked from the comfort of elderly residents’ homes. This significantly reduces the need for in-person medical visits, addressing healthcare accessibility challenges in remote communities.
A key component of the project is stakeholder training, ensuring its efficient and seamless implementation.
