Rulebook on Performance Appraisal for the civil servants in the local government units in the Federation of BiH

The project provides expert support and mentoring to the Civil Service Agency (ADS) of the Federation of BiH to improve guidelines and standards for civil servants’ professional development and performance appraisal.

Objectives and results
To improve policy related to HRM functions in FBiH, to stimulate professional development and capacity of civil servants and improve performance appraisal procedures and standards. The primary output of the project is improvement of the Rulebook on Performance Appraisal and impulses for stronger, more explicit standards and steering tools for the Civil Service Agency of FBiH.
Implemented activities
The project consists of a focus group meeting in Sarajevo of the project staff with partner institutions (Civil Service Agency of FBiH, Ministry of Justice and Association of Cities and Municipalities) and the subsequent analysis and drafting of the existing version of the Rulebook on Performance Appraisal.
